Crime in our neighborhood is a concern for everyone.  The Hillsboro-West End Crime Prevention Project serves as a liaison between the neighborhood and the police department, distributing information to neighbors and assisting them with their concerns or ideas for reducing crime in our area.

Please consider the following:

	Join the email list.  This is the best way to receive updates on crime patterns in the neighborhood and to get quick notification of breaking news.
	Check the Police Department area crime statistics for information on recent patterns of criminal activity in the neighborhood.
	If you witness a crime in progress, call 911.
	Report criminal activity such as break-ins or robberies to the Metro Police Department, 862-8600.
	Please do not contact the Crime Prevention committee with crime reports.  These should go to the Police Department.
	If you wish to notify neighbors of breaking news regarding criminal activity in the neighborhood, please use the email list.
